3 Reasons Why NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer Should Be Your Go-To Under-Eye Concealer

If you are in need of an amazing Under-Eye concealer, then it is time for you to head over to Sephora, and purchase NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer.

Under-eye concealer is a necessity in my make-up collection. I tend to wake-up looking like a zombie when I barely get any sleep at night (which, by the way, are most nights).

Once I discovered the power of under-eye concealer, the game was changed. Instead of looking like a zombie, I actually looked like I had some life in me. Once I purchased NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, I looked like I was ready to perform with Beyonce at the Grammys.

Ok…the Beyonce part may have been a stretch, but what I am trying to say is, this concealer is pretty fantastic.

When I say that you need this as your go-to under-eye concealer, I am not exaggerating. If you need further reassurance, I have set out three of the many reasons that you need NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer as your go-to under-eye concealer. Without further-ado, let’s get started.

DISCLAIMER: Other purchasers of this product may have used it for purposes other than under-eye concealer. This article is strictly for individuals who are looking for an under-eye concealer. The thoughts and opinions provided are based on my own personal experience with NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. Everything stated may not work for you, apply to you, or have the same effect for you. (Sorry to sound like such a lawyer, but now we can get to the good stuff!)

1. Perfect for Pictures

The only reason I was even introduced to this piece of perfection, was because I had a photoshoot the day before I purchased it. For the most part, I always do my own makeup when I have pictures taken of me. That being said, I noticed that the under-eye concealers that I had previously used were terrible for pictures. There always seemed to be a white, pasty aftereffect on pictures. I certainly did not want that aftereffect on my new pictures that I was paying a decent amount of money for.

I ended up stopping by Sephora, and asking if they could recommend any concealers for me that would look great in pictures. They had me try on multiple high-end concealers. When I tried the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, I knew that I had found a winner.

Even before my pictures were edited by the photographer, my under-eyes looked great in the picture. I was not used to that.

This concealer is not only great for professional photos, but for daily photos with your phone as well. There are three different levels of NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer: lightweight, medium, and high coverage. While I initially went to Sephora to purchase a concealer for picture purposes, I decided that I wanted to use my NARS concealer for daily purposes as well. I went for lightweight coverage, because I do not wear a lot of makeup unless I have a big event to attend.

I must say, is it is an excellent under-eye concealer for everyday use. Even with the lightweight concealer, the concealer looks perfect when I take pictures on my iPhone.

If you need to take pictures for your job, wedding, or your daily social media posts, I would highly recommend the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer for under-eye purposes.

2. Creasing Is Not an Issue

As I stated earlier, I do not wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis. Under-eye concealer, eyeliner, and eyeshadow are what you will typically see me wearing on a daily basis. Since under-eye concealer is prominent in my daily make-up routine, I need to make sure that I do not have a creasing party on my face.

I have yet to experience any creasing under my eyes. I personally feel as though the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer provides an excellent finish that lasts throughout the day. I do not wear a primer when I put on concealer, so that should tell you a lot about the power of this concealer.

3. It is a High-End Concealer Worth the Investment

There is nothing worse than paying for a high-end make-up item, just to have it sitting in your make-up bag because it is terrible. I do not know about you, but when I purchase make-up for 3x the amount of a pretty good drugstore item, I want it to be worth my money.

With the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer retailing at $30.00, I am sure many of you are asking yourselves, “Why in the world would spend $30.00 on a concealer.” Well, the answer is simple, you are making an investment.

At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. There are nice under-eye concealer’s that are much cheaper. However, you are not getting the same quality that you would get from the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. With the NARS Radiant Creamy concealer, you are not just paying for a name. You are paying for a strong product that will provide you with (in my opinion) a camera-ready finish that has long-lasting power.

When I purchase high-end makeup, I am looking to invest in products that will make my life easier. That is exactly what the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer does for me. I know that after a long night, and little sleep, I can depend on my concealer to keep me looking alive and radiant (no pun intended).

Try It Out for Yourself

I am pretty certain that I will purchase this product until the end of time. I have finally found the perfect under-eye concealer. I figured I would be doing the makeup junkies of the world a disservice if I did not create an article gloating about this product. However, at the end of the day, you can read my review and other reviews all day long. The best way to know that you need this concealer as your go-to under-eye concealer, is to try it out yourself.

Go ahead, try it – you can thank me later.

My Yoga Journey – Self-Taught Training (Week 1)

Welcome to My Yoga Journey!

Hello to all of my fellow yogi’s, future yogi’s, or random person who stumbled across this blog post!

Tomorrow will complete the first week of my yoga journey. As of January 2nd, 2018, I put on some sweatpants, grabbed my laptop, and began my journey towards becoming a self-taught yoga master. This is something that I have been wanting to do for quite some time. I am thrilled to finally get the ball rolling.

I decided to document my journey, because I wanted to be able to go back and see my progression as this journey goes on (and trust me, there is a lot of progression that needs to be made). I also hope that my yoga journey will help some of my readers who are on their own yoga journey. Perhaps I can teach you something that will help you with your own path to yoga success.

I would like to take a moment to introduce myself, explain how I got into yoga, and list some of my yoga goals.

I love working out. I love it, love it, love it. I love trying out new workouts and pushing my body to new limits. There have been many new workouts that have emerged, and it is safe to say that I have tried a large amount of them. That being said, out of all the workouts that I have tried, yoga has been a personal favorite of mine.

When I was a freshman in college (Fall of 2010), I took my first yoga class. I was lucky to have a University that had two great yoga instructors. Right after I took that class, I became obsessed with yoga.

After each yoga class, I felt like I had an awesome workout, while also having a great mental therapy session. Furthermore, I have a dance background (ballet, jazz, lyrical, etc.), and yoga supplemented my dance training amazingly. The amount of natural flexibility that I have, is zero to none! Yoga helped me with my flexibility, strength, and my physical appearance as a whole. I took a decent amount of classes, and really enjoyed my yoga time.

Well, as life typically goes, I began putting yoga on the back burner. I had an off-and-on relationship with Yoga. I still worked out, but yoga was not something that I consistently did. Eventually, I did not do it all. There were multiple reasons that led to why I stopped, but one of the reasons was a mixture of these three things: 1. Not making enough time for it; 2. Getting Discouraged; 3. Not Being Patient Enough.

Even though I enjoyed doing yoga more than most exercises, I never made enough time for it. I think getting discouraged and not being patient enough had a lot to do with it. I would compare myself to people too much, and I wanted to be amazing after taking one class. Overtime, I wanted to be the best more than I wanted to enjoy learning. I lost sight of why I began taking yoga in the first place. As a result, my joy for yoga began to shift.

Let me tell you this right now, it is going to take time to get a press handstand, sit in an Indian position in the air, and put your foot over your head. For some people, those awesome things come naturally, and that is great! But for most of us, we are just going to have to wait a little longer. That does not mean that we are not going to get there, it just means that we are not going to get there right when we want to.

Now that I have a new mindset, I am ready to become a master in yoga. All I need to do, is learn and consistently practice. I am going to work hard everyday, while also being patient with myself.

In addition to those things, I am also going to be a self-taught yogi. I am extremely busy at the moment. That is one of the reasons that I stopped making time for yoga in the first place. However, there are so many wonderful yoga training options online now, that time is no longer an excuse. I can teach myself the ins-and-outs of yoga right from the comfort of my living room. Eventually, I will take some classes in person again. For now, however, all I need is my laptop, myself, and my dedication.

YOGA GOALS for 2018

I have A LOT of yoga goals. I will make a post that will explain my goals in depth. For now, I will give you a generalized list of my yoga goals for 2018:

  1. Practice Yoga Everyday (Even if I can only do it for five minutes)
  2. Get My Right, Left, and Middle Splits
  3. Create a Yoga Instagram
  4. Increase My Arm Strength
  5. Get a Perfect Handstand
  6. Create my Own Yoga Routine(s)
  7. Master a Standing Backbend
  8. By December, begin looking into and/or applying for a Yoga Instructor Certification Program
  9. Constantly Remember Why I Started Doing Yoga in the First Place – To Make My Mind and Body Happy.

Do you see that picture of the girl with the not-so-great backbend? Well, that is me. Clearly, I have a long way to go. But guess what? That excites me! I am ready to make this happen. I am in a completely different mindset than I was when I first started yoga. I am a completely different person in general. This journey is for me.

For years, I have stopped doing the things that I love because I did not think that I was good enough, because I listened to others’ opinions about me, or because I was just plain lazy. Not anymore. This is my time. This is my year. This is my yoga journey.
